The poster is of very nice quality. The company shipped it to me faster than expected.

The reason for 4 out of 5 was because I received it slightly damaged with a note from the post office that said 'received damaged.'

I bought this because I spend lots of time listening to Pearl Jam, and lots of time trying to learn how to play songs (especially PJ!). After buying this book and playing along with the album for a couple of hours I realised it was missing some! stuff. In Evenflow, it's missing a riff or two, and in Alive, its missing the riff right before Ed sings "oh, I, I, I'm still alive...". And, the authors of the book left out a whole lot of Alive, come to think of it. Lots of little cool things Mike and Stone do are missing, and its up to me, the inexperienced, to figure it out. And (SIGH) they make it rather hard to figure who's doing what. Instead of clearly demarcating the roles of the guitarists, they rather mishmash it all together. All in all, regardless of the many slight mistakes, this book ...still... gave me a giant step forward in my understanding of how to play Ten. Which is a very good thing!

Frankly, this book is somewhat of a joke to me (and should be to anyone who isn't completely tone deaf). There are omitted riffs and all sorts of inconsistencies throughout the entire book. Somehow the transcriber managed to BS his way through every song, completely overlooking the fact that Stone Gossard employs several open and altered tunings. Some of the leads aren't too bad, but there are some transcribed in completely the wrong position (IE 'Even Flow', which is transcribed in E when it should be D). And what's up with that transcription to 'Deep'? What an incoherent mess! Don't waste your money. This TAB book isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Good for some of the notes missed by sounding out, some lyrics are incorrect. Overall pretty good.

So speaks the bard, and so it is written. Pearl Jam is truly one of the greatest band of the 90's if not the century. This book helps give the band the honor they desevre buy going into detail on one of their first and greatest albumbs; TEN. Buy this book, and you won't be dissapointed. Peace.

After the success of Ten, Pearl Jam got angry at being called metal (boo hoo) so they went in this crappy direction. This album is bad, Thank god the salesof their albums nose dived after Pearl Jam took a step in this direction.

Didn't like it. If you only like/know them from Mtv/radio play, I think your'e better off grabbing the Rearview Mirror comp. I hear alot of people call this their favorite so I tried it for cheap. I still like the hits, so I might pick up Rearview myself.

Alright folks, why oh why does a song like "Daughter" get on the radio? The chorus for daughter sounds like a complete joke! Pearl Jam is overrated. There is music far better than this but because the "alternative rock radio stations" won't play more than just a few select bands most listeners will continue to be spoon fed by the media.
There is so much more to music than Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains (although they were pretty good) and Stone Temple Pilots.
Try listening to bands much more unique and deep like ORPHANED LAND, VISIONAIRE, KATATONIA, and PINK FLOYD!
Those are the bands that are treading new ground and producing depth and mystery, but because the Radio won't play them you won't hear them. (Pink floyd being the exception of course).
There is some redemptive value here on Pearl Jam but the above mentioned bands I like are way more interesting and will last for all time.

I'll admit it, back in the early days, I was a real big fan of Peal Jam. They rocked, and , more importantly, they stood up for those less fortunate than middle America. Than I head the song 'Daughter' and I learned that Eddie didn't have sympathy for at least one disadvantaged group in America: The mentally handicapped. On that track he cruelly and heartlessly mocks the vocal affectations of those with mental disabilities, just to get a cheap laugh. I'll admit it, his impression is dead on: he totally sounds like a 'tard. But is it really appropriate to mock the mentally handicapped, particularly when one is involved in so many fashionable, liberal causes? Well, no. The time for fratboy humor is over, Mr. Vedder.
